Our Client is a large Financial services organisation based in Luxembourg .It is part of an international PLC and is undergoing rapid expansion in Luxembourg. 

The main purpose of the role of Client Services Team Supervisor is:

Ensure that a first class control environment is maintained within the team regarding the management of the team’s client portfolio;

Manage and develop client relationships in such a way that clients will have a sense of confidence, security and value when judging the company’s performance;

Demonstrate sound knowledge in accounting and company administration;

Lead the team with passion, integrity and clarity to deliver a high quality, compliant service to the clients;

Demonstrate high quality people management practices to maximise the potential of people to achieve individual and business goals.

Client Service Team Supervisor is responsible for all part of these areas:

 To manage a team of accountants in a fashion that fosters team work.

 To ensure that policies & procedures are followed by team and ensure a system is in place to verify compliance.

 To prepare monthly performance metrics to track for all important business and client deliverables.

 To ensure an environment or culture of open communication exists within the team and issues are communicated clearly and quickly to management as appropriate.

To develop relationships with advisors, auditors, legal counsels and bankers to facilitate smooth management of client portfolio.

 To ensure that resources in the team are efficiently used to deliver services to clients, while making provision for effective layers of backup (holidays, sick leave, etc).

To ensure that a proactive approach is taken to identify areas where improvements can be made to existing practices and that these improvements are implemented.

To have a detailed knowledge of the clients’ business and how Luxembourg fits in to their corporate structure.

To ensure that client relationships are established, maintained and improved and that client issues are resolved professionally and speedily.

To lead the team by example, setting high professional standards and demonstrating commitment.

To provide regular informal and formal feedback to direct reports regarding performance.

 Effective delegation together with ongoing review to ensure that each team member has a thorough understanding of their clients’ requirements and can carry out their roles

 independently while meeting the standards expected from them
